  2. American Heart Association Carwash • The first carwash was held in the parking lot of a Goodyear

  3. American Heart Association Carwash • I did the majority of my service hours at both of the FYE carwashes

  4. American Heart Association Carwash • At the first FYE carwash, I spent the majority of the time holding a sign next to the street to get people to come

  5. American Heart Association • I think it’s good that we helped out the AHA because they do a lot in the community • They help out people who are sick and they help people learn about living healthy • They are strong advocates of a healthy lifestyle

  6. American Heart Association Carwash • In the first carwash, we were able to raise $300 to donate towards our cause

  7. Carwash for the soldier in Iraq • The second carwash was held for the purpose of raising money to help aid an American soldier that had been wounded in the war in Iraq

  8. Carwash for the Soldier in Iraq • The second carwash was held at one of my favorite places to eat!

  9. Carwash for the Soldier in Iraq • I believe that this carwash was for a great cause as well because since the war began on 3/19/03 there have been a total of 1572 American deaths and 11664 soldiers have been wounded

  10. Carwash for the Soldier in Iraq • This carwash was pretty fun • A lot more cars came through this carwash then the first one at Goodyear

  11. Carwash for the Soldier in Iraq • I think we raised a lot of money because it seemed as if we washed a lot of cars

  12. Carwash for the Soldier in Iraq • Another good thing about the carwash was that Waffle House gave us free drinks • When we were all done, I even got a chance to wash my car (it needed a wash, badly!)

  13. Second Harvest Food Bank • I also did a lot of service hours at the Second Harvest Food Bank • The food bank is a place where people of low income can come and buy a large quantity of food for low prices

  14. Service Learning • Overall, I had good experiences with the service learning and I believe that people should try to do more to help out in their communities because a little effort goes a long way
