Govt.*) * = Sem Course • 1 Semester of Economics (Intro to Business .5, Intro to Econ .5, General Economics .5 or Work Prog. 2.0) • 6 Semesters of Physical Education • 1 Semester of Health (Freshman Year) • 1 Semester of Driver Education (Sophomore Year) • 2 Years of Selective Electives (Career oriented classes) • 5.5 Additional credits in any area • Total Credits Needed: 23.50

  13. Literacy Coach Building Literacy Coaches are certified reading specialists who will focus on literacy at the freshmen level. Each building’s Lit Coach will work specifically with Health, English 1 and Geography classes. The Literacy Coach will team up with the content area teachers to help improve student success in reading and writing.

  14. How can I help my child be successful in reading and writing in all classes? Set a good example; let your student see you read Talk to your student about your reading – what was interesting? Build on your student’s interests Help your student find time for reading Technology is a great tool for reading
