  2. Principle Responsibilities-Support WESTAR Committees • Planning, Technical, Sources & Mobile Sources • Keep abreast of EPA technical and policy initiatives • Analyze impacts on western state AQ programs • Facilitate consensus position development

  3. Principle Responsibilities-Lead WESTAR Work Groups • Chair Oil & Gas and Biomass Work Groups • Recruit members • Organize Work Group operations • Facilitate consensus position development • Work with external groups to advance WESTAR interests

  4. Current Activities • Support WESTAR Committee and Work Groups • Wood Heater NSPS • ASTM test method review • Oil & Gas Clearinghouse • WESTAR comment letters on ozone

  5. Future Priorities • Enhance WESTAR participation on WESTAR Committees and Work Groups • Enhance WESTAR member representation on national initiatives • Lead review, analysis of Wood Heater NSPS • W/NESCAUM • Maintain western state forum on Oil & Gas • Organize workshops, conferences
