  2. Land Area Libya-1,759,540 sq miles Minnesota- 86,943 sq miles

  3. Terrain Libya- mostly barren with flat to undulating plains, plateaus, and depressions, Sahara Desert Minnesota- once covered in glaciers that left ridges, is bordered by lake Superior, is mostly flat with hills Libya Minnesota

Libya- Mediterranean along the coast, dry, extreme desert interior - more than 90% of Libya is desert or semi desert Minnesota- cold winters, hot summers, rain, snow, hail, blizzards, polar fronts, tornadoes, and thunder storms. Average of 12 degrees F in January, 74 degrees F in July. Climate
