Letter To the parents of Faye, Your child Faye, is not doing very well in her ESL (English as a 2nd language) class. She can not understand almost any English, therefore she has not started immersion, a class where they only speak English. Currently, she is being taught in a duel- language instruction style where she is taught in both English and French. She also struggles with stereotypical threats. But, very soon she will be a bright and intelligent, bilingual student. -sincerely, Alex Helbling
