THE WORK ROUTE FOR THE DEFINITION OF THE SRQ Revision of the Regional List of the Recognized Qualifications based on the following criteria: Low recoursing Obsolescence No Attendance Stationing/Interruption Superimposition Analysing the educational projects referring to any qualification Comparison with the researches performed by different bilateral organisms (industry-craftmanship- medium and small enterprises–co-operative enterprises-tourism-transport-agricolture)

THE WORK ROUTE FOR THE DEFINITION OF THE SRQ- continuing Comparison with the other European countries qualifications Deepening of experiments and researches performed in Emilia-Romagna Analysing other Regions’ works concerning this topic Check on the professional educational system qualifications Direct survey : interviews to experts

PARTS OF THE SRQ List of qualifications (the “inventory”): at present consisting of 112 qualifications organized into 33 professional areas Qualifications description (the “professional standards”) Process in order to update and maintain the qualifications and the competences placed into the archives (the “source process”)

The participants 100 experts appointed by the social parts + 50 experts appointed bythe vocational training organisms for each of the 33 identified professional areas Regional officials + Expert consultants Three half days of discussion in order to confirm the professional standards of the qualifications in each area about 180 meetings = Three half daysof discussionin order to confirmthe training standards of the qualifications in each area

It’s given to the individual IT’S A FORMAL CERTIFICATE It’s assigned through a PROCEDUREREGULATED by the Region Points out and assures that the individual owns all the typical competencesof a defined professional figure It can be registered into the “Libretto formativo individuale” (individual educational booklet) the QUALIFICATION of the SRQ is: A group of working roles, operating on working processes which are similar and characterized by professional homogeneous competences It can be obtained through the addition of partial certifications (certifications di “competence unit” which can be gained through different ways of learning, during different periods of life)

THE QUALIFICATION AS A “JOINT” BETWEEN THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND THE LABOUR SYSTEM The qualification reflects professional figures which “can be trained” and are “present” in the working world. It’s a “joint” between vocational training and labour system. It’s not “restrictive” neither for the first nor for the other system • The qualification is not a course • The SRQ it’s not the training supply system • The qualification is not a working role • The SRQ doesn’t represent the system of roles working in the enterprises/organizations The qualification can be a reference point for both one system and the other

A QUALIFICATION INVENTORY WHICH CONSISTS OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES STANDARDS Professional figures which are parts of the regional economic and productive system Professional figures which areremarkable for specific sectional policies of the Region Professional figures in expectation of development As a professional figure we mean a whole of working roles, acting on similar working processes or consisting of homogeneous professional competences

AT PRESENT THE REGIONAL INVENTORY IS CONSISTING OF 112 QUALIFICATIONS REFERRED TO 33 PROFESSIONAL AREAS Among these qualifications we can distinguish, (in order to build the training standards) : 26 Of admittance to the professional area 69 Of deepening/specialization 17 Either of admittance and deepening
