  3. Who represents you? Yourdemocratic representatives can speak for you: • in your local council • in State Parliament • in Federal Parliament

  12. Statues: • In groups of 3 or 4 Create a frozen statue/tableau or quick role play to represent three different services we have talked about today. We’re going to try and guess each service and which level of government is responsible for it.

My democratic representatives - A virtual journey! • Find out which maps belong to you in your workbook. • www.youthcentral.vic.gov.auDo-it-yourself Democracy links will guide you to the information you need. • Work out where your house is on each map. • Colour in the local government area and state or federal electorate in which you live. • Write the name(s) of your democratic representatives on each of your maps (local, state, federal) • What else can you find out?
