More than 4 million children are latch-key children. Fifty percent of urban and rural poor students manifest learning, behavioral, and emotional problems.

  12. Sexual and Physical Abuse 1 in 3 girls & 1 in 5 boys are sexually abused before the age of 18 years. Average age of abuse is 7 years old.
