Performance 2008-2009 • Great achievement of the whole business in China include the general management system, product certification and automotive certification. • The company could continually meet the requirement of accreditation body include UKAS, ANAB and IATF. • The marketing share of SNQA in China increased to 5% and the business scope of SNQA becoming one of the widest.
Key Successes • Automotive Certification • The certificate increased from 342 (end of 2007) to 856 (end of 2008). • We got more than 32 auditors in China and most of them could express their strong background of automotive. • We got four OEM manufacturer of automotive and they appointment SNQA as the qualified CB for their supplier.
Key Successes • Product Certification • The certificate issued increased from 212 (end of 2007) to 559 (end of 2008). • We developed REACH business and catch more than 150 clients with 800 cases in three months. • We do certification according to RoHS directive and other medical device directive etc.
Key Successes • Integrated service • For example, the integrated service regarding medical device have been provided including: • ISO9001 • ISO13485 • 93/42/EEC (MDD) • FDA Registration
Future Opportunities • ESD20.20 • As discussed with NQA UK and NQA USA and suggested by them, SNQA applied for the accreditation of ESD20.20 in Mar 2009 and successfully got it. • SNQA become the only one CB in mainland of China who can conduct this scheme.
Future Opportunities • Fire works • Fireworks directive 2007/23/EC will make the exporter of China apply for the certification. • Now 3 notified bodies in global and SNQA will cooperate with the NB1395 in Slovakia. • We have established strong relationship with related government to develop the business.

Future Challenges • Now most of the new project we completed through cooperation and we have a few partners now. How to manage the relationship and risk should be focused on. • How to catch the new legislation and requirement and make them bring business to us. The client now wants to choose the “one stop shopping”, we need to develop the new scheme to develop the new business and keep the existed business.
Future Challenges • The government of China supervise the activities of Certification Bodies more strictly in recent years. • BSI, DQS and Peri-Johnson have been suspend last year. The foreign CB has been focused on. • SNQA’s development is too fast. How to control the risk would be the great challenge in near future.
Targets for 2009-2010 • Keep the client scale. • Emphasis the internal management, especially the risk management and the compliance. • Develop new business and try to provide the integrated service to the client.
