Diamond Valley Men’s Golf Club Lone Ranger – 23 July 2013 08:00 AM Shotgun Start – Pre-tournament meeting will be held at 07:45 at golf cart staging area Format– 4 Person Team Each player plays their own ball with the twist being that each player takes a turn (in a predetermined rotational order) being the Lone Ranger for the hole. Two scores are recorded for the team. The Lone Ranger’s net score as well as the best ball net score from the other teammates. (If you are the Lone Ranger for a hole your net score will count no matter how good or bad and the other net score to make up the team score for that hole will be the best net score from one of the other 3 partners.) The Lone Ranger player will change every hole predetermined by the team line-up. Player #1 will be the Lone Ranger for holes 1,5,9,13,17. Player 2 for holes 2,6,10,14,18. Player 3 for holes 3,7,11,15 – Player 4 for holes 4,8,12,16. ScoringScorecards will indicate Lone Ranger assignments /hole Enter your individual gross and net score per hole on scorecard and use the Lone Ranger’s net score and the best net score of the remaining 3 to determine your Team Net Score. Full Individual Handicaps (This allows everyone the chance to contribute to the Net Team Score.) Ties In the event of ties, NO tie breaker will apply. The winners will share. Payouts Team : 4 Team Low Net places Individual : Closest-to-the-Pin on holes #4,6,13 &17 Individual : Longest putt made on hole # 13 Hole-in-one Pot is in play (for Members Only.) Regular Skins game available for an extra fee. Determined if enough interested Distance measuring devices are permitted Local Rules will Apply Rules governed by USGA Rules Sign up early so the Tournament Committee can get organized, develop and print scorecards and eliminate last minute changes/confusion.
