Our Mission Apartmate is a social network media startup. Our mission is to make the process of finding flat-mates easier and more efficient. We believe in the significance of finding the right match when sharing an apartment and in its influence on people’s life, naming among others, time, money, and energy. We will turn the process of sharing an apartment into a happier experience.
The APARTMate TEAM • We are a team of professionals, coming from different cultural backgrounds and different professional areas. Each one of us have had a difficult experience with finding flatmates/roommates and apartment sharing premises. Therefore, we feel strongly committed to our idea and purpose.
What is apartmate? • A social network that provides profiles for people looking for flat-mates • Apartmate is for: • 1- people looking for potential flat-mates before finding apartments • 2- people trying to find a flat-mate to enter the apartment in which they live at the moment • 3- people trying to enter an apartment with flat-mates already living there

Revenue streams • Fixed fee service: • After offering a free user registration, we will charge for property/accommodation search for short or long-term periods. We will charge a fixed sum of 300 shekels to provide 5 options of apartments that meet their requirements regarding geographic area, price and roommates (our business is to be ourselves the real estate agents)
We have developed a beta network that allows users to connect with each other , and are watching the number of users grow!

Financial estimations • Funding estimations: • 1. Website development + maintenance (one year): 15,000 NIS • 2. Incubator services: 2,000x12=24,000 (a year) NIS • 3. Assistants and interns (up to two) = 2,000x12=24,000 (a year) • Total: 63,000 NIS • We’ll be asking for 80,000 NIS for the first year (round 1) to keep a financial cushion.
Appendix: FAQ’s • What’s the problem you’re addressing? • In Tel Aviv and other large cities, it can be very difficult to afford a single person apartment and many young people find roommates to split the rent. It can be problematic to find someone with whom you can comfortably share a living space, and Apartmate solves this problem. • Who are you competing against? • Our competitors range from real estate agents to other online apartment finding apps to online matching services. We believe that our product is unique from our competitors because we combine these separate functions into one easy-to-use application. • How are you going to grow? • Once we are able to reach our targets within Tel Aviv we plan to expand to other similar sized cities with high demographics of young singles looking for shared apartments • What kind of traction are you seeing? • In only a few short months we have seen a 25% growth rate of our current users.
