HerWay Home Community: Victoria British Columbia • Program overview • HerWay Home (HWH) offers a multi-service, holistic drop-in and outreach program for pregnant women and new mothers who use substances and who may also be affected by mental illness, trauma and/or violence. • Women can participate in HWH until their child is three years old.

The length of time that women can participate in Sheway is flexible and not set by the child’s age.
Maxxine WrightCommunity Health Centre Community: Surrey, British Columbia Program Overview Maxxine Wright (MW) offers a multi-disciplinary wrap- around approach to health and social supports for pregnant and early parenting women and their families so they can break the cycle of substance use, trauma, and violence. Women can participate in MW until their child is four years old.
H.E.R.StreetWorkswww.streetworks.ca Community: Edmonton, Alberta Program Overview The Healthy, Empowered, and Resilient (H.E.R.) pregnancy program model has professional and peer support staff who together provide support for hardest to reach pregnant and parenting women with the aim of helping them access health care and social resources. Women can participate in H.E.R. until their child is six months old.

The Mothering Project – Manito IkweKagiikwe(MIK)Mount Carmel Community: Winnipeg, Manitoba Program Overview The Mothering Project (MP) is a multi-service program for vulnerable mothers and/or pregnant women that is co-located with Mt Carmel Health Clinic and Annie Ross Daycare Nursery. Women can participate in the MP till their child is 5 years old.
