4. Interfacing with Open Health Tools • In working on behalf of the Office of the National Coordinator, Ai is currently helping to progress the Model-Driven Health Tools (MDHT) project. Our current contributions are focused in the following areas: • Validate conformance of C-CDA documents to the standard • Validate conformance of C-CDA documents to Meaningful Use Stage 2 (MU2) criteria, or the base HL7 C-CDA Implementation Guide. • With the SITE C-CDA Validator (www.sitenv.org), our goals are as follows: • Enable rapid adoption of standards that support interoperability and certification • Reduce ambiguity in standards • Improve dialogue among implementers and Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) • Improve the implementation of standards • Answer implementation questions clearly • Guide issues to appropriate Standards Development Organization (SDO) process • Provide test implementation on pre-ballot standards for vendors to test interoperability

5. Subject Matter Experts in Healthcare Information Systems Florida Health Information Network Purpose: To implement a statewide health information exchangefor Florida. AI is serving various full-time project rolesas a subcontractor to Harris Corporation. Outcome: One of the largest HIE implementations in the U.S. is underway and on schedule.
