  2. Informing the Community • In this presentation, we will be informing you about why using E-books is beneficial • We will inform you on how simple it is to use this system • We will have take home instructions available at the end of this presentation

  3. Why is this system beneficial? • You can check out a book from your home • You can also renew books from your home • If you need to renew a book, the option will become available within 3 days of its expiration • Don’t have to remember to return your book • When you check out your book, it will have the expiration date posted

  4. Step 1 You will need a library card! Note: If you do not have one, they are available and FREE

  5. Step 2 Go to molib2go.org

  6. Step 3 Click ‘sign in’ in the top right corner

  7. Step 4 Select library: Howard County Public Library

  8. Step 5 Enter library card number and PIN number

  9. Step 6 Search for a book

  10. Step 7 Select the book and click borrow.

  11. NOTE If the book is not available, it will say ‘place a hold’. You will enter an email address, and you will be notified when the book becomes available

  12. Step 8 Click ‘Borrow’ to be able to check out the book

  13. NOTE You can extend the check out period if needed

  14. Step 9 • You can download the book to read it on your device without being online • OR • You can click ‘read’ to read the book online without it being downloaded onto your device NOTE: You can click ‘add a title’ to check out more books!
