  2. If Calculus has to be explained in crude terms, then we can say, calculus is all about changes. The term 'Calculus' has been derived from a Latin word that means 'a small stone'. It is all about the perspective of how we want to calculate the change in a particular body. We can either break a single thing into small pieces or else we can combine them altogether too, to study the rate of change in a particular thing. It can be described as a branch of mathematics that studies the rate change occurring in a body which is in the motion.

HISTORY OF CALCULUS Calculus was invented during the end of 17th century by two great Mathematicians, namely Issac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz separately, where the Newton was the first, who developed calculus and applied it in the Physics. However, on the other hand, Leibniz invented the notations that are used by the students in today's' generation.

  4. TYPES OF CALCULUS Currently, there are two types of Calculus used in various fields, namely, Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus. Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus are actually, opposite of each other. Differential Calculus usually breaks down something into smaller pieces to figure out the changes occurring in a body. In other words, the Differential Calculus is all about the study of the derivatives. Its study deals with the rate of change of particular functions with respect to the variables. Integral Calculus usually collaborates or integrates smaller pieces and transforms into a single body to check the change occurring. Integral Calculus joins (integrates) the small pieces together to find how much there is a change in totality. It basically, focuses on the slopes of tangent lines and velocities areas under the curve and many more.
