Who's the Franks? The franks was a simple Jewish family. The dad was Otto Frank (1889-1980). The mom was Edith Frank (1900-1945). They had two daughters Margot and Anne frank. Margot was the oldest (1926-1945) and Anne was the youngest (1929-1945). They were liberal Jews. Witch means they do not practice all the Jewish customs.
Where did they live? The Franks moved from Germany to Amsterdam in 1933 the same year as the Nazis gained power in Germany. By the beginning of 1940 they were trapped in Amsterdam due to the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.
When and Why they went in to hiding? Because they were Jewish they had to go in to hiding because Margot Frank; Anne’s sister got a call up notice. They went in to hiding in 1942 in a annex in her dads; Otto franks office building. After 2 years of hiding they were betrayed and sent to a concentration camp.
Who Was Otto Frank? Otto Frank was a decorated German military officer who served in World War 1 (ww1) with his 2 brothers. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister and also played the cello. After secondary school; he studies economics, but found it too theoretical. He went to New York, but came back when his dad was dying.
Who was Edith Frank? Edith Frank-Holländer was the youngest of four children, having been born into a German-Jewish family in Aachen, Germany. Her father, Abraham Holländer (1860–1928) was a successful businessman in industrial equipment and was prominent in the Aachen Jewish community as was her mother, Rosa Stern. (1She met Otto Frank in 1924 and they married on his thirty-sixth birthday, 12 May 1925, at Aachen's synagogue. Their first daughter, Margot, was born in Frankfurt on 16 February 1926, followed by Anne, who was born on 12 June 1929.866–1942).
Who was Margot Frank? Margot Betti Frank (16 February 1926 – early March 1945) was the older sister of Anne Frank, whose deportation order from the Gestapo hastened the Frank family into hiding, and who subsequently perished in Bergen-Belsen. According to the famous diary of her sister Anne, Margot was keeping a diary as well, but no trace of Margot's diary has ever been found. During the early years of her life. Margot Frank was 16 years of age when she and her family went into hiding. Her family hid in the attic of her father's office building.
