3. We know how to factor out a GCF But what there isnt a GCF to factor out?
For example, is there a GCF that we can factor out of x2 + 7x + 12?
Even though we are unable to factor out a GCF, we can still factor this polynomial!
4. ax2 + bx + c This is a special form of polynomials were a, b and c are all real numbers.
Polynomial in this form are not able to be factored by simply finding the GCF of the terms.
