  4. Issues with fish in tarns • Catch is method, weather and season dependent • Size range is method dependent • Methods are labour intensive • Volunteers are weather dependent • Access to site is owner and season dependent

  5. Benefits • Whatever you catch is present • A minimum species list is obtained • Volunteers can provide extra local knowledge • The knowledge is valuable • Sites can be revisited for more information • It is fun!
