  3. 1. Learning Management System (LMS) • A software programme that is -learner centred -applied for the roles of administration & tracking of training modules -web-based (Java, Microsoft.Net) -employs the use of source-learning management platforms(commercial licensed or free open source)

  4. 1. Learning Management System (LMS) • May be integrated with “Talent Management” software systems that are authorized to create e-Learning content (eg. AICC, SCORM)

  5. Learning Content Management System (LCMS) • Related to Learning Management System (LMS) • Content centred • Allows creation, manipulation,re-use of course contents & student interaction (LMS cannot)

  6. Computer Learning Content Information Management System (CLCIMS) • A software programme • A combination of Learning Management System(LMS) & Learning Content Management System(LCMS)
