  2. Introduction/2nd Grade Objectives • Self Esteem (2nd grade builds upon prior knowledge) • Active Learning (Participation, Hands-on, Direct Interactive Instruction) • Independence/Responsibility/ Problem Solving • Grade Level Expectancies

  3. Classroom Management • Philosophy (By modeling and rewarding appropriate behavior and effort, students will demonstrate good choices.) • Positive Reinforcement (Praise, table points, “A.R. Star”, ”Walking Program” Shoes, “True Blue” tickets, and other class rewards)

  4. Homework folder is sent home on Monday. Assignments need to be turned in daily. If homework is forgotten or incomplete, it will be completed during recess and a ticket will be pulled. Ticket notices will be sent home on the day they are received. Please note that “bee” reminders are warnings that come before tickets. Friday Folders will contain weekly papers. Please check papers and sign the form inside the folder. These are to be turned in on Mondays. Thank you for turning in the completed emergency forms. Paper Management/Parent Communication
