Les verbesauxiliares • partir takes être as the auxiliary in the passé composé and plus-que-parfait • sortir can take both être and avoir as the auxiliary in the passé composé and plus-que-parfait depending on where the action goes. • Pourquoi est-ce que vous avezdormi au bureau hier soir? • Les armées sont définitivement parties en 1945, après la guerre. • Elle a sorti les plantes hier soir.
