Process Turtle Diagram • Questions • Does the process meet the requirements of the standard? • Compare what is written to the standard • How do you do the process? • Have them show you • How does the process work? • Ask them to explain it • Are process users following the process? • Compare what they say and do to what is written

Materials/Equipment Turtle Diagram • Questions: • What type of measuring equipment do they use? • Have them show the measuring tools • How do they know if the equipment is calibrated? • Look for identification of calibration • How is equipment maintained? • This could be computers • How are computers backed up? • Check the record procedure

Measure(s) Turtle Diagram • Questions: • How do they measure the process? • Explain what type of measures there are • How do they know they are doing a good job? • Explain how their boss measures them such as reviews • What are the requirements they are trying to meet? • Do they have any kind of requirements such as drawings, specifications and how are they meeting them

  19. Competence/Skills/Training Turtle Diagram • Questions: • What type of competence/skills/training do they need to perform the process? • Look at job descriptions • Ask the boss • Do they have the competence/skills/training to preform the process? • Look at training records
