Choose a course • Read information on the courses we offer at www.warwick.ac.uk/go/pg/courses/ • See further information on the pages of your chosen Academic Department TOP TIP Research the course content: don’t judge a course by its title!
Check the entry requirements • Check the degree requirement: do you need to achieve a certain degree classification, and is the content of your degree appropriate? • Check the English language requirement: if you require evidence of English language proficiency what score would you need to achieve? • Are there are other requirements for your chosen course?
Apply online • Go to www.warwick.ac.uk/go/pgapply • You can apply for most courses in this way, but there are some exceptions (e.g. MBA, PGCE) • Please complete your application as fully as possible • Include email addresses for your referees and we will contact them for you TOP TIP Speak to your referees about providing you with a reference before you fill in the form
Pay the application fee • If you are applying for a taught course you will be charged an application fee • The fee is £35 for an online application and £60 for a paper application • The fee can be paid online when you apply • If no application fee is paid your application will be cancelled after 20 days TOP TIP If your application is cancelled most of the details will be stored so you can go back in an reapply fairly quickly
Upload your documents • We will email a link to you • Documents required: • Transcripts from your University-level study • Research proposal – if appropriate • Evidence of English language proficiency • Two academic references – we will only accept non-academic references if you have been out of Higher Education for more than 5 years TOP TIP If you have not completed your degree yet provide an interim transcript
Decision is made • Applications and supporting documents are reviewed by the relevant Course Selector • Incomplete applications may cause a decision to be delayed
We will email a decision to you • The email contains links to any relevant pages of the University’s website • If your offer is conditional the conditions of your offer will be stated in the email TOP TIP Keep us updated if you change your email address.
If successful please reply to your offer • Follow the link in the offer email • Read the terms and conditions of offer prior to accepting TOP TIP If you receive offers for more than one course you can only accept one, so choose very carefully.
Meet any conditions • If your offer is conditional please send in any documents required to meet conditions as soon as possible • Especially important for students requiring a visa TOP TIP Make sure you know what format the documents need to be in to clear the condition: emailed documents won’t be accepted at this stage
