  4. Then, he wenttoVeterinary School. • He wasinteresting in foreignlanguageclassesduring his education.

  5. He learnt French andPersianlanguages. • He worked as veterinary in Rumeli, Anatolia andArabia. He knewaboutpeopleduring his worklife.

  6. His employmentstarted in 1893 andended in 1913. • He wasteachingliterature in schoolsduring his employment.

  7. He gotmarried in 1893.

  8. School educationwas not enoughfor Akif. • He studiedhimselftoexpand his knowledge.

  9. He continuedstudyingLiteraturebyteachingandwritingpoemsafter he startedworklife.

  10. He startedtopublish his poems in a newspaper in 1908.

  11. He wentto Berlin andArabiaduring World War 1. • He wrote Berlin Memorieshere.

  12. He had about 100 articlesand 50 poems. • General name of his works is Safahat.

  13. Otherworksarecalled Süleymaniye Kürsüsü, Halkın Sesleri, Hatıralar, Asım and Gölgeler.

  14. He got a seriousillnessand he died on 27 December 1936. • His grave is in The Edirnekapı Cemetery.
