  2. Project Overview • Base Station • Audio from ipod or other portable music device, transmits wirelessly to receiving station • Voice recognition controls to increase, decrease, or mute volume • LCD to display volume information • Receiving Station • Play music on internal or external speakers

  3. Design Challenges Faced • Debugging a microcontroller on a PCB • Voice recognition accuracy • Prototyping the project

  4. ECE 270/362 Knowledge Used • ECE 270 • Reading datasheets for IC’s • Wiring circuits for prototyping • ECE 362 • Programming a microcontroller, especially using peripherals • Reading datasheets
