This Webinar is LISTEN only QUESTIONS? Questions will be answered in writing at the end of the Webinar.
Moving Control Between Machines • Lesson Overview • Where is the Calibration Information Stored? • Can the Calibration information be exported and moved to another control system? • Can Machine builder information be moved between 7.X and 9.X code sets? • Why can’t the Control Box save all the information?
2D Systems • Calibration and Performance Settings: • Current active machine only • Stored immediately after changes made • Last settings retrieved on power-up from E-squared chip nonvolatile memory • EEPROM Reset will reset all setting to factory defaults • Software upload of different application software will require EEPROM reset • Loading a new version of the same application will not affect the EEPROM memory • Calibration and Performance Settings: • Current active machine only • Stored immediately after changes made • Last settings retrieved on power-up from E-squared chip nonvolatile memory • EEPROM Reset will reset all setting to factory defaults • Software upload of different application software will require EEPROM reset • Loading a new version of the same application will not affect the EEPROM memory
BTC • BTC is adjustable through the 9164,9168.9169 • BTC is stored in the slope sensor • BTC is not available in the 9256 • BTC is stored in the slope sensor • Factory default of 60 • To change BTC connect to 9164,9168,9169
7.06 vs 9.0 The .mb3 machine builder files are not compatible between 7.0 and 9.0 codes
X63/X62 • Calibration and Performance Settings: • The GX60 and GSP components can be moved from excavator to excavator without loosing and data. • Multiple excavator .mb3 (machine builder files) can be saved on the GX60 • All TS-1 sensor calibration data for multiple excavators can be stored in the .xml file. • No TS-1 sensors can have the same last two digits of the serial number.
X42 • Calibration and Performance Settings: • 8.01 is not capable storing multiple machine builder files. • 8.01 is not capable of importing or exporting machine builder files. • 8.06 is capable of storing multiple machine configurations • 8.06 is capable of importing or exporting machine builder files. • When upgrading from 8.01 to 8.06 all calibration and machine builder information will be lost requiring recalibration. • All codes developed after 8.06 will retain calibration and machine builder settings.
Future Code changes • Plans for the Future: • GX60 • Store all necessary configuration information to allow for the equipment to be moved from machine to machine without any adjustments needed. • The information will be stored in an .mbx file, when the machine is selected the files stored in the MC-R3 will be automatically updated.
