Conclusion Sentences • The conclusion sentence should • signal to the reader that you are finished • remind the reader of the main idea • repeat the topic sentence in different words - DO NOT COPY THE TOPIC SENTENCE!!! • summarize the main point or points of the paragraph • never, never, NEVER end a paragraph by introducing a new idea
