Try making it to the British officer and informing him that Samuel Adams and John Hancock fled Lexington hours ago. 2. Try running up to tell the nearest British soldier that the Patriots have moved their supplies to new hiding places. 3. Stay put and wait this one out.
Loyalists who chose NUMBER 1 • Make a Negotiating Skill roll to see how well you can convince the officer that you are on his side.
Loyalists who chose NUMBER 1 • If you spin your Negotiating Skill number or lower, you’ve convinced the officer that you are not a Patriot trying to trick him. He thanks you for the information. Raise your Morale by 1 • If you spin a number higher than your Negotiating Skill, you failed, and the officer orders you arrested because he thinks you are a traitor trying to trick him! Lower your morale by 1.
Loyalists who chose NUMBER 2 • Make a common sense roll.
Loyalists who chose NUMBER 2 • If you roll your Common Sense number or lower, run for your life because the soldier thinks that you are a Patriot running to attack him! He runs after you for 3 miles. Lower your Morale by 1. • If you roll a number higher, then you successfully convinced the British officer. He sends you and another scout to find the hidden stash of supplies. Raise your morale by 1.
Loyalists who chose NUMBER 3 • You watch as the British soldiers march past and on to Concord. Your Morale does not change.
Dear Diary… • Write about today’s dramatic events! • You must use at least 3 facts from the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Look at your timeline and/or the textbook (pg. 128 – 129) if you need to refresh your memory. • Remember to stay in character. • You can be creative and embellish the story. You must use your choices and the effects of those decisions, however, you can add creative elements!
