DAMPING DMTA Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analysis (ACC Lab.) According with ASTM E1640 Loss factory as a function of temperature. Some material have a limited temperature range with high loss factor level (recicled rubbers) and others are very stable in temperature. In designing a single damping layer this is important to be consider.

MARINE Structural panel with CorkRubber core which offer excellent soundproofing properties. Its high soundwave damping and thermal insulating capacity, together with its excelent mechanical properties, make this panel ideal for partitions and applications requiring excellet environmental comfort. Marine deck covering Excelent non skid properties Shock absorbing Long life time Remains cool, also at high temperatures Wear negligible Easy installation
BUS Sound and thermal condicioning In a Bus with 25 m2 of composite panel ACM15 core material can reduce up to 140 kg with an equivalent CO2 saving of more than 300 kg/year
RAIL TRANSPORTATION Sound and thermal condicioning Panel weight reduction up to 44% in comparision with HML core plywood panels Use of natural, reclaimable raw materials.
ON HIGHWAY TRUCK CABS Mack Trucks (Volvo) • Effective in damping • Light weight • Cost effective • Fire Ratings • Green material • Recyclable • Product interest • Full coverage sheets • CLD Patch • Patch Panel
In the transportation sector and considering that a bus utilize 25 m2 of composite panel, ACM core materials we can reduce up to 170 kg with ans equivalent CO2 saving of more than 270 kg/year. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSABILITY ACMTM products ensure conformity with all present regulations for hazardous substances and are free of: PVC Heavy Metals (Pb, Cd, Hg and Cr(VI)) Formaldehyde and Comply with RoHS and ELV 2000/53/EC European Directives
CORK OAK LIFE CYCLE ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSABILITY Several Amorim Divisions are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. Recent studies in the Iberian Peninsula state that cork oak forest contributes with more than 20 Millions tons of CO2 sequestration, making it a significant world resource for the environmental balance. Each time cork is harvested, cork bark regenerates itself. Cork oak trees store CO2 in order to regenerate, and therefore a harvested cork oak tree absorbs 3 to 5 times more than one which is not harvested, thus benefiting the atmosphere.
