  3. Last Mile FTT(x) Optic Fibre Design • Juta High Speed Networks is a Zimbabwean registered company and comprises of personnel who have collective experience from working extensively in the Mobile communications industry in Zimbabwe and abroad. Under the CelcomNetworks holding company, Juta High Speed Networks is a GPON Optical fibre solutions provider for high speed broadband Networks. Juter Networks has Global partners and seek to partner Tel.One in designing robust last mile FTT(x) Solutions to boost Telone competitiveness , revenue growth and acceleration towards achieving UN Millennium Development Goals and the ITU Connect Africa Summit Goals. • Broadband Infrastructure Development Challenges • Communications infrastructure is an important element of an effective, functioning economy. For telecommunications operators , keeping up with the pace of change driven by technology ,social trends, financial markets conditions and government regulation is a constant challenge. • Build an easy to maintain and efficient Access Network • E2E Secured and reliable Access Network • A scalable services Solution to satisfy service requirements which keep changing • Sustain current revenues by facilitating the need to improve ICT services provisioning to improve • service delivery and spur economic development as well as promote broadband access to all levels • of society. • Increasing requirements for e-business Access

  4. Last Mile FTT(x) Solutions based on GPON (Giga Bit Passive Optical Network) Our Services • Business Conceptualization & Business Case • Desktop topology design & Site Surveys • Preliminary Costing • Planning High Level Designs based on preliminary survey • Network Design Documentation • Final Bill of Materials Tools • Google Maps & Visio • GPS • Connect Master Fibre Planning Software • Desktop Auto Card • Measuring Wheel

  5. Other Design functionaries ROW Administrator Permitting & Approvals • Compiling of documentation for all the various way leave entities per project. • Compile way leave executable file and hand deliver it to the various entities as per their requirements. • Manage and file the receipt of acknowledgement by each entity per application. • Manage the applications on a daily basis on a tracker sheet. • Give planners and the rest of the team regular feedback regarding all applications. • Work very closely with planners and be pro-active. • Develop good working relationships with all the various stake holders and entities.

  6. Desktop Topology Design High Level topology schematic of fibre routes using visio on google maps Surveys Field physical survey of fibre route, choosing the best possible route. Determine actual route distances, distance of road crossings, determine and confirm spare capacity of existing pipes on all bridge crossings on route, accurately measuring and recording the various reinstatements in the fibre route where excavation shall take place Detail Drawings: Fibre Routes Designs Compiling topographical plans and schematic plans according to required specs. Drawing of detailed topographical and schematic plans indicating fibre route layout on visio. Drawing of detailed floor plans of termination point and customer premises route layout. Compiling and printing of detail design executable plans and documents to hand out to site supervisors and contactors. BOQ compilation (Cost Analysis) Based on information from Route Survey: Compile BOS + BOM ROW Drawing Draw ROW plans for fibre route, special road crossings, special bridge crossings/attachments. Handover drawings to ROW Administrator to trigger ROW applications. The fibre planner will be ultimately responsible for all ROW’s.

  7. Scope of Work – Specialised Services Teams Trigger ROW process. Compile plans for ROW HLD Desktop Topology Routes OPTIC FIBRE PLANNER Compile complete executable files for SP’s, update all as-built, administrate all change management Site & Route survey Final routes determination & obstacles noted Give weekly feedback and update to planners and the team regarding all ROW applications Deliver, collect various entities involved for each individual project. Compile cover letters for all ROW applications and make all copies of plans Will acknowledge receipt of plans from planner RIGHT OF WAY ADMINISTRATOR Provide planners distances for compiling logical diagram for blowing team Keep planners updated with any change that takes place. Put in a change request before making any changes that will increase cost of project Receive Executable file from planner, ensure that all plans & BOQ matches up. Ensure that all ROW’s are in order for route, especially bridges, rivers, SITE SUPERVISORS

  8. Final Design Outputs Low level designs on a route link basis • Routes naming • Fibre Route length • Fibre Splicing plan • Fibre route OLT to ONT Route specification & Drop • Fibre specification • Fibre route permitting documentation set • OSP and ISP Attenuation budgets • Optoelectronic specification • Bill of Material & Cost Analysis • Acceptance values definition Other Services • Knowledge transfer • Fibre Deployment • Managed Services Contracting at Operations phase

  9. Cost of Services will depend on TOTAL PROJECT VALUE DURATION OF PROJECT PER DELIVERABLE BASED
