Duties / Responsibilities VPA VPS Provide weekly service projects Serve as a liaison between other service organizations and the club Delegate logistics of service projects • Serve as liaison between a-board & e-board • Serve as liaison between the club & the school • Show appreciation to board members • Resolve conflicts among board members • (Co-) Run board meetings • Facilitate board unity and communication

The OUCH Format for Reports (but don’t worry, it’s painless!) Ongoing – Update on events that have been going on & will continue to occur Upcoming – Give board details on events coming up in the next week or two Committees – Update board about topics discussed and decisions made at committee meetings, also should inform board of next committee meetings Help – Ask board members for help or opinions about something

Accountability “Accountability breeds response-ability.” • Set goals • Do so at the beginning of term, adjust as necessary • Try to form quantitative, measureable goals • Keep track of what they present in their board reports • Give them reminders – board members can forget things too • Semester/quarter outline • Approximate dates / deadlines for events • Communication is key • E-mail phone calls meet-ups in person
