  1. The Scientific Library of NUPh for English-speaking students: services and electronic resources

  2. Services English-speaking students may take textbooks at the Foreign Literature Department (room No. 318). Here they have opportunity to work with different scientific literature and European Pharmacopoeia as well.

  3. Services In the reading rooms No. 209, 314, 318 students may use catalogues to find necessary literature and work with scientific periodicals, books, encyclopedias and electronic resources.

  5. Electronic resources You may find necessary books and journal articles due to the Electronic catalogue any time. The access to our Electronic catalogue is available both on our site and in the reading rooms. http://lib.nuph.edu.ua/

The historical information about the NUPh departments, scientific articles, abstracts of dissertations, scientific, educational and methodical literature, reports, materials of conferences etc are presented in our Electronic Archive.   7. Electronic resources Scientific Library of NUPh provides quick access to open databases via the site. You may use Hinari, Uran, DOAJ, AcademicJournals, BioMed Central, Free Medical Journals etc.

  8. Electronic resources HINARI Programme set up by WHO together with major publishers, enables low- and middle-income countries to gain access to one of the world's largest collections of biomedical and health literature. PubMed comprises more than 24 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science, and online books. Citation may include links to full-text from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

  9. Electronic resources Directory of Open Access Journals – is an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals. Academic Journals is a broad-based publisher of peer-reviewed open access journals. Academic Journals currently publishes 111 open access journals covering art and humanities, engineering, medical science, social sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences and agricultural sciences.

  10. Electronic resources BioMed Central is an STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher of 270 peer-reviewed open access journals. The portfolio of journals spans all areas of biology, biomedicine and medicine. Free Medical Journals – open access to the most important medical journals available online, free and in full-text. The main goal of the URAN network is to provide institutions, organizations and establishments of science, education and culture with information and networking services enabling network users to realize their professional needs.

  12. Electronic resources Virtual reference service is a service by which a library reference service is conducted online, and the reference transaction is a computer-mediated communication. It is the remote, computer-mediated delivery of reference information provided by library professionals to users who cannot access or do not want face-to-face communication.
