  3. A type is an imprint, pattern or shadow cast. The antitype is the real thing, the reality, the full embodiment.

  9. Type Antitype Noah and his family “saved by means of water” in the the flood. We “in like figure” (anti- type) are saved by means of baptism. The type and the antitype both worked well!
