Three. Hisense Inverter Technology Why we apply inverter technology ? 1. The advantage of inverter technology lies in energy saving and noise reduction and its application in air-con can improve the comfort of housing environment and its application in refrigerator can improve the freshness of food. The research and application of inverter technology is the mainstream trend of technological and market development. 2. Comparing with DC inverter control technology, the vector inverter control technology is superior in technology and performance and it represents the trend of technological development in the future.
Three. Hisense Inverter Technology What is vector inverter ? The two technologies of DC and vector are featured by two energization modes and their performance is basically different. In DC control, two phases are energized simultaneously and the direction of electric current changes 6 times in each electronic cycle and the direction rotates 60 degree each time. The control is simple. The vector control, three phases are energized simultaneously and the direction of electric current changes over 100 times in each electronic cycle and it can rotate evenly and the control is complicated. Shanghai has a relevant local standard: SEER (energy efficiency index) for class I inverter air-con is > 6.0. Hisense air-con KFR-22GW/99FZBp is an application of this technology and its SEER is 7.01. * The SEER of average fixed speed air-con is 2.8-5.0

Improvement of Air-con Comfort Performance & Refrigerator Fresh Keeping Performance Thanks to the application of vector control technology, it can maintain the low speed operation performance of the compressor and remarkably enhance the high-speed operation of the compressor. The temperature of the air-con can drop rapidly and maintain around the temperature required and meet the demand for comfort to the maximum. On the one hand, the wide range variable speed performance can ensure minimum fluctuation of the steady temperature of the refrigerator and on the other hand the fast freezing capability can improve the freshness of frozen food.

Standby Power Consumption As per the statistics of authoritative department, The average standby power consumption of existing home appliance, audio-visual products and office equipment has accounted for about 10% of total power consumption in a home, equivalent to a 15-30W lamp lighting around the clock. The energy consumption is huge and the reduction of standby power consumption is the main target.

Standby Power Consumption Since March 2006, the standard “The Energy Efficiency Limit and Energy Saving Rating Value of Color TV Broadcasting Receiver” GB12021.7-2005 was enacted. The standby power consumption is below 9W and the energy saving standard is below 3W. In 2000, Hisense launched the 1st generation low-radiative and environment-friendly series products with standby power consumption of below 2W. In 2001, Hisense launched the 2nd generation environment-friendly product with standby power consumption of 0.7W.

Improvement of Unit Work Energy Efficiency With respect to the LCD products, we interpedently developed the high-pressure inverter scheme so that the PS efficiency of the unit is lifted to 92% while that of the conventional scheme is no more than 82%. The variation of the ambient sunlight intensity is considered and the actual demand of customers is analyzed. Through technological problem tackling, Hisense took the lead to propose the LCD energy saving mode, under which as much as 40% energy can be saved.

Mr. Li Yanquan, senior engineer, director of Hisense Kelon Home Appliance System R&D Center and expert in audio-visual and home appliance refrigeration sector in Hisense Group. Mr. Li commits himself to R&D and management of color TV and refrigerator and he published 20 plus technical papers and applied six state invention patents.
