  4. How to use the model… • 1. Discuss 3 main points of paragraph/story: • A. Introduction (top bun) • B. Internal or supporting information (the filling) • C. Conclusion (bottom bun) • Have students write a topic sentence that clearly states what paragraph will be about • Students write several supporting details that give more information about the topic • Instruct students on ways to write a conclusion that restates topic sentence
