  3. Vision and Mission of ITV ITV Košice was established in 2007 with aim to be IT cluster • IT companies in the region (18 members of ITV) • Universities in the region (2, 20 000, • IT-200/year) • Kosice Self-governing Region, maybe Presov Knowledge based triangle -> IT cluster

  4. ITV Košice motivation .... • Košice ITV members has 3 basic motivations • Realistic and bussines oriented interest for profit • Social and corporate responsibility for region • Interest for high quality educationatUniversities, highschools and elementaryschools level S Y N E R G Y

Members of ITV • Group A –IT companies with aim to mantain very large scale computer systems – main issue is mantainance of computers systems ( basic interest / adaptation of education curricula to lower their expenses in to get ready to fly person – staff • Group B –IT companies which offer IT solutions and they need more added value labor in IT – more creativity ( basic interest / innovation, adoption and influence at university research, applied research ,... talent pool.... ) • public administration, local government and universities ( basic interest - e services , acreditation for University level, sponzoring, TOUCH with REALITY)

Success in group A T Systems – one of the largest companies in SK cca. 1500 people in IT for maintenance business – keep large corporations worldwide , very important for a region New bussines center - still growing CISCO – many CISCO implementations RWE IT – creation of RWE software testing center And many others…

Success in IT – B group Siemens PSE – medical informatics , other activities Ness KDC – Ness solution in GPS technology and many others Elcom , Ltd – automation solutions, touch screen producer IXONOS, Ltd – mobile applications …. Microsoft Slovakia – Microsoft Innovation Center , Kosice Sors Research – IT in financial domain Telegrafia - IT in global warning systems

  11. 2010 basic goals of ITV ITV Košice focus on 3 goals initiated with member • Companies A – talk and imporved about Education in IT • Companies B – Create Innovation CLUB – PILOT projects for companies from Uni, SME • Selgovernment, Uni – MORE IT companies, keep Acreditation as University Image of the region – people ready for higher added value IT labor
