  5. Course Objectives: • Building on the Foundation of A&P I • Medical terminology • Somatic and special senses • Blood • Water, electrolyte and acid-base balance • Lymphatic, immune, digestive, respiratory, urinary, endocrine and reproductive systems

  6. Cramming is a sure path to failure ! It will blow up in your face!

  7. Good study habits • Read ahead • Attend class and pay attention!! • Review within 24 hours • Study a little at a time • Study often • “Do something” with the material : make flashcards, draw diagrams, make up songs.

  8. Come out of your shell and ask questions!

  9. “Ferret” out the information to the study guide.

  10. Think! Don’t just “parrot” back the information!

  19. Exams : 4 exams worth 100 points Exam dates are “set in stone” Comprehensive final Exam 100 points A = 450 – 500 points B = 400 – 449 points C = 350 –399 points D = 300 –349 points F less than 300 points

  20. 4 “Pop” quizzes Keep you studying regularly Are you studying properly ? What kind of question you can expect Bonus points to take the “edge” off exams Also bonus associated with comprehensive final !
