  1. Sketch the Language Family Tree found in the diagram on pages 166-167. You can either draw the tree itself or do a map like the one pictured below. • Using your data from last class, color the leaves based on the density of those languages in the ancestry of our class. You can choose any color scheme you want, but be sure to provide a key so that we know what each color means. • Answer the following questions about the language family tree (be sure to write these down): • 1. What do the separate trunks of the tree represent? • 2. What do the branches of the trunks represent? • 3. What does the size of the individual leaves represent?
