  3. December 1st Was the day that Rosa didn’t give up her seat to a white passenger in Montgomery, Alabama.

  4. Rosa Parks had gotten arrested for not giving up her seat.

  5. In 1995 Rosa finally meets Martin Luther King Jr.

  6. She organized and collaborated with the civil right leaders. Included boycott leader Martin Luther King Jr.

  7. She had a major Impact on the civil rights. Rosa had been called the “Patron Saint” and “The Mother of Movement”

  8. “Each person must live their life as a model for others” “Whatever my individual desires were to be free, I was not alone. There were many others who felt the same way” -Martin Luther King Jr.

  9. Rosa is my American hero because she didn’t give up what she believed and wanted she was also very brave
