  4. What is density? • Density is the ratio between the mass and volume of a substance. • It tells the size of the atoms and how close the atoms are to each other in a substance.

  9. Boiling Point is the temperature when a liquid changes to a gas. Melting Pointis the temperature when a solid changes to a liquid. Freezing Pointis the temperature when a liquid changes to a solid

  11. What is solubility? • Solubility The ability of a substance to dissolve in another substance. Different amounts of substances may dissolve in the same amount of water.

  15. What is specific heat? • Specific Heat is the amount of ENERGY needed to change the temperature of a substance 1 degree. • The higher the specific heat of something is, the more ENERGY it takes to increase its temperature.

  19. What is electrical conductivity? Electrical Conductivity the ability to allow charges (electricity) to move through a material.
