Presentation evaluation Our class has decided a good presentation will have information on: Cost of the alternative energy Space the development will need How effective the alternative energy source will be Where the alternative energy source will be How easy our presentation is to understand It must be accurate
Successes • Pupils were very keen to explain their decision through their presentation • Pupils showed confidence working together with new apparatus. • Pupils demonstrated a great deal of skill when working with IT and craft materials.
Challenges • Time - I would have been unable to complete this project without the pack produced by the University of Edinburgh. • Confidence – SSERC CPD allowed me to use the apparatus before the pupils and meant I was able to give pupils more freedom.
Further development • Video – • I plan to ask pupils to complete a video project when carrying out practical work. • Peer assessment – • Pupils will be expected to comment on team and individual performance at each stage.
