ECE 4006B Fall, 2002, Group 3, Man Le Progress Report Period (November 15-21, 2002) Progress: • Finished alignment tolerance testing with Rx board (S7911 and PDT-A85A30) • Life is back in our Tx board - Solved problems and changed all components as stated last week(replaced Rmod, lowered VCSEL…) - Soldered new Tx board - Result: good open eyes (conn VCSEL) • Thanks to group 1 for spec sheet on unconnectorized VCSEL, tips on alignment tolerance testing on Tx board, and loaning us a Rx board • Need to trade unconn VCSEL for conn PD (if interested see us) Next Week: • Continue Working on alignment tolerance testing on Tx board • Focus on the final paper
