Counting the Money At the end of your game an adult should count all money. Students are not allowed to count money or do deposits. Leave the amount as outlined below, unless given instructions to leave more/less by the Concessions Chairperson. End of Night Bank to Remain in Bag (Yard and Fieldhouse):$200 End of Night Bank to Remain in Bag (Stadium): $300 You should leave as many ones as possible, along with a few fives and quarters. Unless absolutely necessary to leave the required amount of starting cash, do not leave tens or twenties.
Counting the Money • For baseball and the fieldhouse, place starting cash back in money bag and place in the cooler. For the stadium, leave the starting cash in the cash drawer. • Once replacing the starting cash, take all remaining money and prepare your deposit. • Fill out the deposit envelope completely. • Be sure to write the names of the workers who worked for your group on the envelope. • Write neatly! • Give the deposit envelope to the school administrator present at your event or drop it in the Eagle Club safe located in the Main Office Mail Room. • You do not need to do anything with the tablet for credit card sales. Just leave it plugged in to charge. For varsity football games or other larger events, the Concessions Chairperson will arrange for and deliver a larger amount of starting cash and will be responsible for handling the cash counting and deposit at the end of the night.
Remember that the money handling must be done by an adult. Be sure the door to the stand is locked when you leave. Thank you!
