Suicide Prevention through Internet and Media Based Mental Health Promotion • SUPREME is a suicide prevention e-health programme targeting young people between the ages 14 and 24. • The project is funded (60%) through the Health Programme by the Executive Agency for Health and Consumers (EAHC).
Objectives of the SUPREME project • To develop and evaluate a sustainable internet based intervention • To systematically review evaluated internet-based intervention studies • To identify and systematically describe existing suicide-preventive websites • Establish and disseminate guidelines based on all of the above

Preliminary results Significant at p<0.001 • N= 1914 (females: 55.3%; mean age: 15.85 years) Significant at p<0.05 A trend towards reduction of suicide attempts was observed in website users in comparison with the control group.
