Evaluation • A eye catching title with a range of colours that are enticing to the human eye. The solid blue is bold and captivates the audiences attention and gives the impression that the festival is fun and chilled. It gives the impression that its not a rock concert but a happy, stress free concert. The bold image in the corner is the first thing people will look at and it gives all the information immediately in a concise form therefore immediately informing the reader but not taking up took up too much time which is what festival go-ers want.
This is a lot more relevant to my design as it based on London which is my area of interest. The background is really beautiful which immediately makes London look more idyllic and pretty. The photo shopped landmarks, such as Big Ben and the post box, link strongly to London and the rich colours display it in a positive, magical light. The image also has blurred tube trains which is an eye catching approach to displaying more of London’s features. The font is also elegant which encapsulates the London idea.
Has a main focus which is high definition. This portrait is intriguing and the bright colours attract the audiences attention. The natural colours makes the cover comes across as peaceful and calming. The bold font supports the striking colours given off from the background and supports the modernistic approach.
The vintage background is immediately eye catching and presents a strong sense of nostalgia. The colours aren’t striking but still create an image that is pleasing to the eye. The attention of the image is brought to the lady in the foreground. There isn't an overwhelming amount of text which makes the image seem a lot more professional but also makes the reader curious as to the content of the magazine.
