Legal Group (LG) • The MISSION of the Legal Group is to ensure that the legal aspects of electronic business and international trade facilitation are considered in the work of the UN/CEFACT • The MEMBERSHIP of the Legal Group is open to experts in the field of international trade law and IT law who have been mandated by their country's Head of Delegation 9th UN/CEFACT FORUM New Delhi

Legal Group (LG) Current projects: • Unified Business Agreements and Contracts (UBAC) Project • The UBAC projects aims to align the concepts defined within ISO Open-edi lifecycle stages of an e-Business relation (Planning, Identification, Negotiation, Actualization, and Post actualization) with the legal processes • Recommendation 35 on a legal framework for International Trade Single Window • Aim to create legally enabling environment for an International Trade Single Window legal framework 9th UN/CEFACT FORUM New Delhi
