NSW Sport and Recreation have completed their mail out informing their Registered Employers of the transfer. WWCC Guidelines reflect transfer changes in the Approved Screening Agency details table (Table 8). WWCC FUNCTIONS TRANSFERRED FROM DSR TO CCYP
EMPLOYER REGISTRATION AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYER REGISTRATION DETAILS VOLUNTEER/STUDENT DECLARATION Form signed by all volunteers in Child Related Employment (excluding volunteer positions in previous slide) APPLICANT DECLARATION AND CONSENT Form signed by all applicants requiring background checking (including new groups of identified volunteer positions) ADULT HOUSEHOLD MEMBER CONSENT Form signed by adult household members (over 18) of an authorised carer, family day carer or home based carer. VOLUNTEER/STUDENT DECLARATION requires more personal data from the volunteer/student. 100 Points ID is recommended but not mandatory. CCYP undertaking targeted audits to make sure the volunteer/student has signed the declaration truthfully. Auditing of these declarations is now a part of the Commission’s new role. CCYP will audit a few thousand Declarations each year. Audits only possible if we can verify signatory's ID and there is sufficient data to do a criminal records check. V/S DECLARATION CHANGES
The new forms are designed for filling in online; then signing, and sending to the Commission. You can still print off the new forms for people to fill in by hand. New forms are better and easier to use, but not Compulsory as yet. ONLINE FORMS FOR BACKGROUND CHECKING

The new forms are designed to be filled in online; then signed and forwarded to the Commission. If preferred, Employers will be able to print off forms to fill in by hand. Old version of forms will still be accepted for a transition period. FLEXIBILITY WITH NEW ONLINE SYSTEMS

Form that assist employers in determining what matters to report to CCYP. Employers don’t need to determine the category of notification anymore: only to provide the required information to the Commission.
