Stasis • When two opposing sides come to a confrontation in which they agree and then proceed to develop a strong debate • Using the facts, definition, quality, and issue at hand. • In the presidential campaign both parties agreed the economy was in a turmoil situation. • They focus their attention on fixing it, but using different plans to attack the fiscal cliff.
Kairosand Stasis • Presidential Debates- perfect opportune time to bring up key issues that focus on the American population. • Both parties need to agree that there is a problem that need to be fixed, and from there they argue. • If there is no point of stasis there is no clear debatable topic. • Presidents appeal to their parties interests
