Carolyn visited our school on several occasions and demonstrated a lesson in Baker’s “Math Leap Class.”
Students cross our paths as cocoons. We are entrusted with them to help them develop. They look different than when we were students. Some are caught in their cocoons. They are struggling and struggling. They are so confused. It’s our job to help them become free. We hold their cocoons and pick apart all of the damage that has already been done. Every day there is a different struggle – but at the end of their struggles, we say, “I believe you can fly – Do You believe In yourself?!”
