  3. Exploration • His goal was to get to China. • He explored New York bay, Newport, Rhode Island, Narrows, Coast of Maine, Narragansett bay, Block Island, Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Guadeloupe. • He sponsoring country was France.
